May 2012 was not a good month for the construction business,for the second time in seven months the the unemployment percentage went up and the construction was one of the hardest hit,losing 28,000 jobs.Their was a total of 111,000 jobs lost in May 2012 ,both public and private were both down.The specialty trades lost 11,000 jobs and the heavy equipment construction lost 18,000, Rueters News said that they expected the construction business to rebound after the loses in May because of an increase in residentual increase.The Hill Blog said last month that getting the Highway and Transit Bill passed would certainly help the backslide in the construction industry.The heavy equipment training programs that offer on-the-job training and the heavy equipment schools are filling the vacancies due to attrition and not much else.

The Associated General Contractors of America said that out of the largest 337 markets in the lower 48 only 60 of them had an increase in construction employment in April and May 2012.
